How Did I do? 2017 Purchase
I looked far and wide for the perfect truck, but sadly it did not exist with my exact option list.
I decided upon ordering a new F150 Super Crew. I have officially ordered as of this morning!
My Truck...
2017 F-150 Screw w/ the 3.5 EB and 10 speed transmission.
Options I remember include: Magnetic Gray Paint, 4x4, 302a package, sport appearance package, 36 gallon tank, tailgate assist, sync 3/connect, and full moonroof!
My out the door price was $40,500 after negotiation and rebates. I put the $1,000 down to hold my order and now I get to play the waiting game.
The question is, how did I do? Did I get shafted? Okay deal? Great Deal? I'm curious to hear your opinions as well as any first modifications I need to make.
(Line-x is the plan for the bed...once I receive the truck)

OK, I'll bite.
Seems like a good deal....not crazy good, but good. What was MSRP?
I'm sure picking off the lot would generally yield bigger discounts, so considering it's a customer order, I'd say you did well for yourself.

How is this not a crazy good deal? Msrp should be like 55k on that truck or so.
Out the door at 40,500 after taxes and all is crazy cheap!

Sounds like a good deal to me. My XLT sport 5.0 302a was 51 msrp w/o the moonroof. After negotiations price was lowered to 42 plus I got another 3 grand for my trade in. So basically I paid 39 before tax and title. Your was 40 w/ the moonroof and the 3.5. Congrats on the good deal. Post pics when you get it.

MSRP was $53,020 on the truck. Tons of rebates and discounts on them.
I also have no idea how I was able to order a 2017 this late, but I was... Guess the cutoffs weren't as early as I was reading online.
I am glad I did not get SCrew'd over...I should be shot...
Thanks for the reassurance everyone
