Horrible noise from locking rear differential. - 2018 F150
Has anyone else experienced a horrible chattering/vibration/noise when using the electronic locking rear diff? I’ve attached a video demonstrating the noise my truck is making.
On a a side note.... I’m really upset with the amount of issues I’ve had with this truck. It’s a brand new 2018 and I’m seriously considering selling it. I’ve never had a new vehicle with so many problems 👎. I’ll list some below...
-humming/vibration from front diff
-transmission slamming into gear
-rear leafs replaced due to clunking
-drivers electronic mirror not working
-dash warp
-intermittent no start

That can’t possibly be normal. There’s no chance a group of engineers designed it to do that.

Damnit, I was hoping this would be a common issue that would be easy to resolve. I’ll be able to give you guys an update as to what ford says. It’s booked in first thing.
Perhaps the the issue may be related to the leaf spring replacement? I feel that’s unlikely though.
