Hmmmmm....new Navigator EB has increased HP and Torque...
Lincoln is advertising that the "new" V6 in their updated Navigator has 380 HP and 460 lb/ft of torque......that's a pretty large increase in torque over the EB in the 2014 F 150 ......wonder if Ford is going to pump up the EB for us too.
With the 700 pound weight reduction combined with this kind if increase in torque, that is going to make one serious acceleration run possible...and and towing would be, I am sure, much improved.

Sounds like they tuned it a bit, now add a better tune!!!!...
Also I am seeing 460 on the torque, not 480.

The current EcoBoost 3.5 engines would likely produce the same HP/Torque if you used premium fuel. The engine computer will adapt timing and if the turbo takes advantage of it by boosting compression, then it should make more power.

I think that Ford currently quotes 435 lb/ft on 91 octane, don't they? That's a far cry from 460...........

There's no 93 octane available in Oregon-Washington-California and several other states. That's one reason that rating the Navigator EB at the higher 93 octane makes those numbers bogus to so many folks...pure Lincoln marketing/advertising hype to sell their 3.5 over little brother Ford's 3.5 regardless of whether the fuel is available for the former or not.
