From what I've read the raptor will be a 2016 model but no word on the transmission and or engine options. Rumor has it that it will be a 10 speed tranny...from everything I read and researched ...I decided to get a 14 raptor instead of waiting for the new body in 2016..too many what ifs and with the lighter aluminum frame... Well I'd like to see how it holds up... Especially in the raptor

This was how the FX package started, as an option package you could add to other trim packages. I wish I could have done this when I got my '10... A/C seats were high on my want list, but a no-go with the FX4. With the new/old scheme I could have my Lariat with heat/cool seats, plus the 3.73 E-Locker I wanted.

Also, as a side note anyone want to start a pot on how long it will take someone to break out the paint stripper and aluminum polish and do this:

I like it. To compare it to the Tundra is ridiculous. The tundra is an ugly pos... but I like this new design. Reminds me of the 08-10 Super Duty.

Per the article I read, it is not gone, but now it is a options package, instead of a trim level.

So now you can get a Lariat FX4, if you want. For the '09-14, you had to pick one or the other.

So that looks a lot better with the monotone setup. I still just hate the piece that juts out into the middle of the headlight housing...

If you look closely at the red FX4 badge on the fender... Looks like "Lariat" below the "150".

I'm not buying the article. Where did they get that information? It's probably an assumption as was just about every part of this truck was before they released it, and now people are still making assumptions. We know very little about the truck even after the reveal, don't make assumptions about anything. And even if it is an option as opposed to a trim, so what? They're still going to give you everything an FX4 is currently and then some

I'm sad to see it go as a stand alone trim level, but that is a sharp looking truck! Kinda sad to see not many new color options.
