Here it is.... Thoughts?

you need to get a better pair of glasses, This F150 is a morph of all 3 ..Heck it has the exterior front just like a 14 Tundra and the interior of the Ram..I don't think its an ugly truck,, I just think it looks tooo much like the other brands,, Its like the trucks have turned into the Honda Accords of the world..Everybodys trucks are gonna look the same..SAD. Ford should have rolled out the ATLAS. Then it would be in a class by itself..

Looks like a lariat. Fixed running boards and full chrome bumper.

When the Atlas concept was revealed, people wanted Ford to make the production model the same. They made it look almost like the Atlas and many of you guys don't like it... Personally I think it looks awesome and I like the way Ford is trying to make progress in the automotive world recently. It may not be very reliable at first, but wait a few years and Ford will be making reliable, powerful smaller displacement engines while GM and Chrysler try to catch up.

Personally, I like them. Now it looks like later this year I'll be getting a 2014 on the CHEAP instead of going pre-owned because the price of the current design is going to plummet. Then in a few years, after I get the '14 (or a used 11-13) paid off, I could get a 15-18 pre-owned.
And here is my theory on the engine lineup:
The EPA/CAFE standards are hammering V8 engines. I think they'll keep the 5.0L V8 (great fuel mileage for a V8), Ford is never going to offer a F150 without a V8 option unless the government were to outlaw the V8. However, I think they had to offer a smaller Ecoboost for those people that aren't going to do a lot of heavy hauling with their trucks. Due to future CAFE standards, they probably did the right thing in dropping the 6.2 so they aren't scrambling in the future to meet new standards.

By saying their V8 gets better MPG than the 3.5 ecoboost...oh wait, they are doing that now!
By saying they have the most powerful 1/2 ton on the market...their new 6.2 is even more powerful than Fords 6.2..... that is being dropped!
As a very happy owner of the truck in my sig...I hate to say this but GM wins.
I won't be getting rid of my truck any time soon! The 6.2 is awesome! Plus I added some of the new features already to my truck. As for the LED lights...have you driven a car with them? In fog they are awful as they don't "cut".... Everything just turns white. They look cooler than hid, but don't perform as well. Lots of talk about this in the high end car forums.
