Take the seat out, cut the top of the duct in a "u" shape that allows you to lift it up, remove the coins, glue the duct back together, replace the seat. Done!

There are two 1" drops in the duct and also center posts that makes it very difficult to even get a coat hanger far enough in to reach the coins. Then there is a corner to go around. You couldn't get the smallest nozzle from a vacuum cleaner in more than about 6". I don't believe you could get a dime out if it isn't flat as there is just no room.
Thanks for the help but the vacuum just won't work.
Did you try a shop vac and it didn't work or are you just saying it wont and never tried. This method has been used many times successfully. And as I said earlier I've even pulled marbles with it, granted they are round but still much heavier than coins. Also did you set the ac to cold and dash vent so that the floor vents are closed off and your not just sucking air from the plenum box?

I did try the shop vac and it only goes in like 6". Not even close to where the coins are and it didn't move any coins that I could tell. I did not try turning the AC on to close the floor vents. I may give this a try tomorrow.
Thank you for the help. I will keep trying.

I have thought about cutting the duct at the corner but would rather not if there is any other way.
Thanks you.

This may be worth a try. Although the hose will need to be no bigger than a 1/4" or so. There is no way you could get a regular garden hose in there. If I could get one to stick I could pull it until it falls off and then try hooking it with the hanger. I don't know what they have in there but it's not just a hollow duct. There are two dips a few posts in the center and maybe some other crap. It seems simple but it is a bitch to shove anything all the way to the corner before the console.

Use a drain cleaner tool and wrap duct tape around the end of it. You should get a couple coins at a time this way.

I'd call your service guy and ask for a description of what's inside the vent, seems like you're trying to figure out what tool to stick in there and don't know what is fighting you?

i know you said you want to get to it from console side, is there any way to use compressed air or a air tank blower from console side and blow them back out or farther towards the seat opening? I'm thinking pop off center dash piece and feed air hose down until your in that pipe and then turn it on? I'd think that kinda air pressure would blow the coins

I think air pressure would work if I could get it from the console side or even before that. Just not sure where to snake in an air line? You say to pop off the center dash? Are you talking about part around the display? Is there a place to access the duct there?

my apologies I was thinking 09-14 the vents were in the center dash then and when that trim piece came off you had a wide open hole down the vent. I'd look into finding out how to take off a dash vent and drop line in there see where you go

i just looked and I think if you take center around radio out the silver pieces on either side could be snapped out or unscrewed. That will take the vent and vent grille off giving access to vent tube like I said is a wide open hole on 09-14, probably the same for yours.
