Help getting items that went under the seat and in the duct.

My next idea is to see if I can get a small air tube and have a little u-turn on the end. If I can get that around the corner and then open the valve to blow them back around the corner so I can work them out with the hanger.

The only problem with this is that the gerbil is going to fatten up from all the treats and then you got a stuck gerbil and then you got to wait for him to die and then it is going to get stinky.

Any way you can get the nose really high? If you can get the angle high, maybe reaching in and around with a bent coat hanger would get some of the coins moving around the corner and out the duct.

I think this is my best option. I need to try a few sharp right hand turns before this to try to get the coins back around the corner. I just need to find a steep hill that I can stop on and spend some time.

The tube on the vacuum isn't to suck the coins into the vacuum only to suck the coins onto the end of the tube.. Once you hear that one is stuck on the end you pull it out. Take off the coin and repeat.. cutting the end of the tube on a angle will make it try to pick up the coins that are laying flat..

You could tape a piece of flexible hose (like a water hose) to the vacuum nozzle, and shove that in. If the coins don't fit through the hose, you could pull them out one at a time as they get sucked onto the end of the hose.

My kid dropped a piece of round candy into that duct on my 2011. It rolled with every corner I turned. I tried everything to get it out but came up empty handed. I finally had to take it to the dealer and have them take it apart and get it out. I forget what it cost but it was worth it. That thing was driving me crazy. I had them keep the candy so that one day, I can drop it in the vent on his first car.
