Default Help getting items that went under the seat and in the duct.

I had a bucket full of change on the floor of my back seat. Someone slammed on the brakes in front of me and all the change came forward. I took the seat loose and got all I can find but a bunch went into the open duct work directly under the drivers seat. Does anyone know the best way to pull it apart and get the change out? Does it come apart under the carpet? I don't care about the coins but they are rattling in there.

Double sided tape on a stick,,, or a tube that fits stuck into nozzle of shopvac.. Go drag racing.. Find a very steep hill to climb... Take it in for service they are good at finding loose change but they wouldn't tell you how much they found..

I wish it was that easy. The duct dips down and turns right before it goes up to the console. It can't be that bad to take apart I just need some guidance on the easiest way to go about it. It might be easier getting to it from the console but I just don't know for sure. Or how the console pulls apart.

I don't think so. I think I need to come in from the console side as it would be closer than from under the seat, then I think I could get to them better. I am just not sure how to pull the console apart.

Maybe drive the truck on a steep hill... first going on the side with the drivers door facing down the hill and then turn going up the hill to get the coins to slide around the bend and out the vent.

Maybe, I tried stepping on it while taking off but nothing came out. Also there is snow on most streets so not the best traction. Also I would guess there is 50 coins in there by the sounds of it when tapping on it.

If I do take the console apart will I be able to access the duct from an open end in the console?

Won't the seat track be between the vent & you/console? It may be easier to remove the seat. I just saw a thread on redoing the seats with Kat???? something leather. It has good pics & info on removing the front seats.
