Default Help! Ford screwing me on cost of motor because I have 102,000km on truck!

Just wondering if anyone know if there’s anything I can do to get warranty to cover or help with this cost. I have a 2015 F150 3.5l ecoboost platinum and just before my warranty was up at 100k my truck started making a ticking sound. Ran perfect with no vibration, no power loss, no miss or anything to make me think I would need a new motor. I use my truck for work and put anywhere from 200-500km a day on it so I rolled over 100k warranty while I was waiting for time off to get into the dealer. My salesman told me I only had 60k warranty. I then found out different 6 days after I rolled 100k. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Seriously, go talk to the general manager of the dealership and ask him why your salesman mislead you and what can be done to help with your issue.

Do you have any documentation that shows you reported a problem before 100K? That should be enough.

Warranty is stated in your manual.

Something I may have missed here: Do/did you have an extended power train warranty? If not, you have a 5/60 on the engine.

He's in the 51st state... so he's got a 5/100(,000km) powertrain.
