Default Help with exhaust tip size

I am looking to replace the chrome exhaust tip with a black tip but not sure of exhaust size . 2015 3.5 ecoboost 6.5 bed . Not sure if 2.5 or 3 inch replacement tip is needed . Thanks in advance for any help

I replaced the tip on my 2017 3.5 and the exhaust pipe was 3" and the tip was 3" input with 3.5" output. it should be easy enough to measure.

You need a 3” ID tip.

You could just paint yours with a high temp black paint.

Do this if you want black (BBQ paint works). Same as aftermarket as both will eventually chip and look like crap.

Or you could look at some 304SS options. Borla, MBRP, etc.

I used high temp engine enamel gloss black to paint my chrome tip about 1,000 miles ago. Looks perfect so far.

Seems to hold up as long as you have mud flaps. I got a couple of chips and then installed mud flaps. No more chips.

Used some BBQ black I found in my wife's craft locker...holding up just fine. Just do it on a hot day.
