It's much larger diameter than stock. Everything has a front bar and I've always seen a big improvement by adding both.

Added the sway bar AND Ground Force lowering shackles Wednesday afternoon. Feels very solid and no swaying on curves. Very happy with the results !

It definitely improved the cornering of the truck and reduced the roll.

That's what I really like about it. Taking curves and turns a little faster than usual, or even accelerating into them and it just stays planted to the road.

Indeed. Since most production passenger vehicles including 1/2 ton pickups come to us with a tendency towards understeer for safety, increasing rear roll stiffness will help the balance towards more-neutral handling. And since there's not a lot of weight to influence the CG/center of gravity towards an aft bias effectively increasing rear roll stiffness by itself, pickup trucks have traditionally handled somewhat well for what they are. Adding a rear swaybar helps even more.

Don't forget about dampers (shocks)! Dampers are still some black magic in the suspension tuning arts. There's a reason everyone swo0ns over something as simple as installing four high-quality shocks on their trucks.

A rear bar is on my short list.

Yes you are correct about the shocks, especially the rears . I replaced them with Fox 2.0 within the first 6 months that I had the truck. Just doing that was a significant and noticeable difference in stability. The rear sway bar increased the stability and handling for sure.

Did you also install the Bilsteins up front? Did you install a Hellwig sway bar up front?

Was just reviewing this thread while fiddling around with my rear Hellwig install and couldn't resist posting.

Hellwig content: front and back on my '17, love them.
