Since the original person who made the cooling fix kit has disappeared and stopped selling the kits I decided to go ahead and resurrect it. Im not bothering with the exhaust, just focusing on a cold air intake like Ford's solution. I dont believe the exhaust portion is necessary.

After a couple iterations because of scaling issues and getting the part flipped in cad I finally have a design that fits. I resin printed mine. The ducting I used is McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/6519N15/

I'll need to trim some of the foam sticking out from under the bottom seat rail and cut the J-strip like in the Ford TSA. Once I know this works I'll post the files so anyone can make it or have it made.

Awesome! As someone without a 3D printer, I would gladly buy a kit should anyone decide to sell one.

Between the bursts of rain I got the vents installed

The ducting I got from McMaster is actually split, not solid so I took some cloth automotive electrical tape and wrapped the exterior to hold it together. I took some .070" soft iron (bailing) wire and made a ring that went inside the corrugation at the end of the duct on the fan side. This does two things, first it prevents the ducting from collapsing when sliding it into the fan adapter, second it helps retain the duct. I tapped the screw access hole M5/10-32 so a screw can go through the duct and keep it in place. The wire reinforces the ducting so it cant rip out.

I installed it with the duct running down right of center from the seat. It is secured to the cross bar using a zip tie with the existing holes in the bar. The J-mold strip is cut with tin snips and folded back. I cut a slit in the bottom for the vent opening to pass through. There is a strip of plastic that runs along this which I cut about a 3" section out of.

Drove it around for a bit and it definitely works. I checked the front and back with a thermal camera. The hottest part of the back was 81 degrees. Thats perfectly fine, you cant even feel it.

Link to the files, there is the solidworks file as well as a .STL that can be uploaded to any printing service to have the parts made https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...usp=share_link

Hi all, same problem with my car, not working ventilation and heating. Some times ago I've fixed same problem in mondeo ( European fusion) there was exactly same module and burned pin. Here in F150 lariat from year 16 is same module but this connector is taped, nothing is connected to this slot. Can somebody help me some diagram, is normal or previous owner disconnect this connection afraid of fire? Nowhere under seat don't see rhis connector.

Problem solved, someone cut wires and tape it 10 cm before end of wiring, new connector will arrive tomorrow. Hope nothing more is burned.
