Default Have 3.5 eco issues been addressed???

Can anyone verify if Ford has addressed and/or corrected any of the 3.5 ecoboost issues? Is the intercooler different or the exact same design as the outgoing model?

What issues do you speak of? My 13 only has 12,500 miles and so far zero issues

Condensation buildup in the CAC causing shuddering and limp mode issues. How long have you been on the forum?

I have a 2012 model and had the shutter and stall problems due to the condensation build up. Ford changed out a couple of things and never had a problem since.

From what I heard its a completely different set up. Different CAC and position along with the hot and cold pipes coming into the bottom of it so no chance of build up

I've also read were people like to put catch cans on because of condensation, just add one of these?

Thanks for sharing your vast wealth of automotive knowledge. Lemme know how that works out for you trying to rig up a catch can to your intercooler!

I can't confirm because I'm new to all this as well but if you read the 2 catch can threads and watch the RX Youtube video of the 2015 install Terry explainstalled a can on mine.
I also dropped the intercooler and flushed it right after the install and did my 1st drain of the can after 500 miles. Which also is referred to in the RX Can thread.

There were many more people that didn't have an issue then the few that did. My 2011 and now my 2013 have been flawless.
