Has a Ford Customer Service Rep ever actually helped?
Just curious about this.
I have noticed since I have been here that they seem to come by and have a blitz of offers of assistance, then they seem to disappear for a while. They did seem to have a heavy presence with the launch of the new 2015s. I am talking about the reps on this forum, not your dealer.
What I am wondering is has anyone that had any contact with them actually have them help facilitate a resolution to their problem? I have heard lots disgruntled people that haven't, but thought we should give them credit if there is.
Reading on other GM forums, they seem to have a similar way of reaching out. I did not read about much satisfaction there either.
I really hope I am wrong.

Yes I feel they were a help to me.. But all they can do is push your problems up the ladder to your service department and have them take care of the problems.. Which they did for me,,,, But would of it been any different if I had just took my truck in,,,,,, I can't say.. My dealer has always been helpful....

Got a 5 yr, 75k warranty out of the regional customer service rep.
Dealer (Fort Mill Ford) sucked so bad on some TSB and seatbelt fix work that the regional rep extended my warranty. Tried Fort Mill Ford once more, they still suck. Now I go to Performance Ford in South Charlotte...

The rep helped me out twice. once with my F150 and once with my mustang.
Truck was in such a bad shape after one dealer F'ed it up that the regional rep sent me to a better dealership and gave me the maintenance plan for my truck up to 45k miles.

Been waiting since June for help with Sync 3 not showing up as existing on my truck even though it works. This is the response I received in late August:
"I responded to your post earlier. I've sent an email asking for an update. I'll report back soon."
It's now February and no answer. I was able to correct it myself with a soft reset. Wonder if they ever look at what's still in their lineup.
