Would you be willing to do a quick write up? I have the Ford instructions but pretty hard to figure out. For instance step 3 show the area behind the tail light, but I have no idea what to do in there (other then knock out the hole covers for the lamps and switch). That way most of the way through.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the encouragement. Did it today. Of course it was blazing hot!
Once started, the rewire is straight forward, tho not immediately obvious when looking at the instructions.
For those interested: Just start at one side and work across. The hardest part IS removing the clips holding the harness to the frame. Visegrips are the ticket. rip em out! The new harness has all the clips attached so just sort of work along by removing 1 section between clips and replacing with the new. Sort of makes it all line up. Tip: Figure out how to remove the taillight bulb HOLDERS from the old harness (you reuse these) so that the bulbs don't break when they fall thru to the ground. If you have a liner installed you will probably need to remove some of the bed fittings to get behind it to install the lights and switch. Final puzzle for me was the 1 left over clip on each end below the lights. Revelation hit, that's what the plastic "bar" with the hole in it on the back of the lights is for!
So all wired up, need a BT dongle for my laptop to configure with ForeScan. In the meantime I noticed that the lights are NOT working with the bed switch, but the cab mounted light DOES! The bed lights DO come on with the cab mounted light when a door opens, and stay on for some time when the door is closed and the truck is buttoned up. They may also be on when the truck is moving, but I haven't verified this yet. They do not respond to the cab switch. Now to find the info on config. with Forescan!
EDIT The lights do stay on while the truck is running. Gives a weird glow in the back window at night.
