Has anyone installed a number keypad on a F150 xl??
I'm trying to see what all would be involved in hooking up a numbered keypad on my drivers door like the XLT and other trucks come with. It looks like it's a wired keypad from what I've seen, not sure if the harness for it is in the door from the factory or not. Any help is appreciated

Hi, You can buy a wireless keypad from your dealer or online. Part #ES7Z-14A626-A
Sticks on the vehicle and works mostly like the wired ones.
Make sure you get the new one, the old one, part #7L2Z-14A626-BA doesn't work with 2015+
Of course only works if you have keyless entry.

I purchased one and didn't know you couldn't program it yourself. It would not work unless I paid the dealer to enable it with his computer. He said it would be a $100 shop fee for the program.
I returned it.

Yes I have added the Keypad on my 2015 XL
Bought the Keypad from Ford Parts online ($80 picked up at Dealer) and planned on installing it myself. In the past on previous Ford's there are instructions how to program just like adding another key fob (turn the key in the ignition 8 times press 1,2 etc). Uh nope, not anymore, I searched online for weeks, no bueno. Dealer has to program it. My Service Advisor wanted $125. We worked out something else since I have been buying cars from that Ford Dealer for over 13 years. Yes I am glad I added it, works great!
