This is hard to say... but I have a PROBLEM!
I must admit, its not life threatening... maybe just wife threatening. Her threatening me that is!!
So I finally took delivery of my new 2016 F150 Lariat SCrew FX4. By far the nicest truck I've ever owned... to date. Then I went ahead and did this to it:
I really think I need help with this problem. The truck had a grand total of 60 miles on it. I had barely driven the thing.
Before:
After:
I really need to give a special thanks to member: DWSmoot
He went above and beyond measuring his truck and giving me plenty of data to get the tire and rim combo just the way I wanted.
Specs:
2016 Lariat SCrew, Fx4, 5.0, Sport
20X9 Fuel Hostage +1mm
35X12.5R20 Toyo Open Country R/T
4" ZONE lift kit
Bushwacker Pocket Style Fenders
Morimoto XB LED fogs
Raptor Style Grille with LED's & FORD letter pack
BAK MX4 Tonneau Cover
Solid Lower Bumper Grill
PlastiDipped Logos
HyperTec Speedo Calibrator
2" Hub Centric Wheels spacers (for OE wheels with winter tires)
Firestone RideRite Airbags & On Board Compressor (not installed yet)
As of today, I have approximately 1400 miles on it. Coming from a 2011 FX4, this truck is WAY quieter. Drives ridiculously smooth even with the lift. The moonroof is HUGE. The fuel economy seems a little better than the previous 5.0, but that might just be my imagination.
I will be looking into the gas pedal vibration fix as it is FREAKING me out feeling like the front end is going to fall out of the truck (only while touching the gas pedal I might add) & the cooling seat fix as I pretty much only get cool air from the seat bottom but nothing on the back.
So far, I'd rate this truck a solid 9/10.
I know I'm not the only one with this PROBLEM... just wanted to share as admitting the problem is half the battle!!

That's Mr. Tippy to you.
I think your problem is contagious. Lol. If my wife gets mad at me I will be sure to blame you for being a bad influence. Hahaha. Nice looking truck. Love the grille.
