Default Hard downshift

I have a 2016 F150 XLT 3.5L non turbo that I have had a few hard downshifts. Anyone experienced this before?

Same year and engine. Yes I have experienced hard downshifts brought mainly in sport mode which I guess is to be expected. But a few in regular mode.

I'm not sure that really applies to his 6R80.

My 15 with the 3.5 N/A with the 6 speed had a few hard down shifts in sport and normal drive modes. They were nothing compared to my 18 with the 10 speed that dropped soo many gears it chirped the rear wheels as I kissed the steering wheel at 80kph lol. On both trucks i think it was my fault from forcing a downshift via throttle input.
