That’s what I was afraid of. The pillars were wrecked for sure. Not to mention almost every body panel was hit hard enough to crease and crack the paint which I would assume requires painting a majority of the truck. It’s a bummer because this was the first time I’ve had a new truck and coming through 4 years was getting close to paying her off. Also, right now seems like a rough time to get a deal on a new truck. We were planning on going up to a 3/4 or 1 ton eventually due to wanting something more stable for the camper and future camper upgrades. But I can barely find a heavy duty truck in the lots down here and I can’t find any rebates like on the 1/2 tons.

I’m not sure about the camper. The immediate issue is it shattered my AC vent which allowed water to get inside and now I have cabinetry starting to swell at the floor so that can’t be good. The roof wasn’t torn but I’m not sure what condition the wood is in underneath. You can tell every spot it got hit. I’ll post some pics. The hail doesn’t look too impressive because it all shattered when it hit at least in the picture I have.

This was taken about 6 hours prior to the storm. She was so pretty!

That hurts just looking at it.

Think I am going to move my wife's crappy honda out of the car port and put my truck there instead

You are all OK I assume and that is what matters. I have been through a tornado in a tent and I about soiled my overalls. Let us know what the insurance says.

Holy moly. I saw picks of 4" diameter hailstones from that storm... but these are the first vehicle pics I've seen. I can't imagine getting hit by those things. Could put you in the hospital... or worse.

Hope you all are OK, other than the vehicle damage.

This is horrible. I truly feel so sorry for you man. I've been through some big ones driving through the plains. Pulled over in Kansas once because I couldn't make it to an overpass and the noise was so loud I put my head between my legs because I thought every window was gonna blow out. Anyway I hope you get covered for everything.

Sorry to hear and see this. Glad your safe. I watched dime size hail pelt my truck for 5 to 6 minutes one day. I got so sick to my stomach. Went to inspect truck when it was done. Not a mrk on the truck. Tonneau cover was destroyed. I can't imagine how you felt. Wish you the best. Hope you get a new one and can move on with your life. Best of luck.
