I decided to leave most of the Grille grey and PlastiDipped the FORD lettering black. I like the look. I am planning on pulling the trigger on a set of Gloss Black FORD overlays from Inshane Designs, so it keys off against the black paint. Right now, the front end is all kind of matte. Whats your thoughts? Really like the pics above of a few others who have done FORD overlays. Looks great!
If you lived in Florida I would ask you if you want to trade letters. Lol I wanted black ordered F &R off Amazon received the paramount gray ones.

Some other brands come with a harness that plugs into your headlight, no wiring needed. This one, I just tapped into the parking light, on the top corner of my passenger side headlight. Proper splice connectors and lots of electrical tape, and it was a cinch. No issues. I think the grey gives a bit of contrast. I saw a pic of an identical truck to mine on Google, and you could hardly tell there was a grille on the truck, besides full black that blended in with the rest of the truck so much, it had no contrast. It was so black, you could hardly make out the letters FORD. To each his own though, as to what you like. A YouTuber I watch all the time (AutoVlog) has the same year and color F150 and did the identical grille, leaving it grey and had the gloss black overlays put on, really looks great, and inspired me to go the similar route.
do Inshane designs have overlays that you can order online? Or do you have to take the truck/grille up to them?

For those of you with a 2018, I was just shopping around on ebay for bumpers for my 2017 and found this...2018 F150 Raptor Style Grill

There are a few sellers on ebay selling this grill and as I mentioned I have a 2017 so I have no experience with this gill. I just thought I'd let all the 2018 owners out there that they have raptor style grill options too!

I have a black truck too and wondering if the grey will look weird and if I should get it painted black to match?
Hey, I painted the grille black. I'll take a picture later that shows the color better. I think it looks better black.

All these pics of black trucks confirms to me that I need to figure out a way to remove all the chrome off my truck. I don't think the Raptor grill will look good with a chrome bumper. So, I am thinking of plastidipping my bumper and the plastic chrome wheel covers. And then either wrapping or buying black painted door handles. I have the grill sitting in my garage waiting to be put on, I just don't want to yet with all the chrome.

Do it right the first time and have it wrapped. Plastidip just sucks. I used to be ok with it, but the time and effort isnt worth the mediocre results. I'd rather pay a bit more up front and not have to worry about it

Ah, I couldnt tell but I thought it looked darker than the "grey charcoal color"

Either post up some pics (a lot of them ) or just PM me a ton of pictures of the grill and full truck showing the grill too.
Thanks man!!

Yes, the overlays are right on their homepage, for ordering online. I am in Canada, so plan to order a set of gloss black. Mike from AutoVlog on YouTube got his done there, along with some bumper wrap and other things, but that's how I knew to checkout InShane Designs.

awesome!! I really appreciate it! This is so perfect too since I have the same 20” sport wheels so this gives me a great idea of what my truck will look like!

thanks again man!
