Is your center crossbar section mounted in the grille or clipped/bolted on?

Yeah I know. The grille that treepoint5zero installed and the one that Jabooh1 just received are NOT the same grille. 2 companies are making a similar looking grille with the mounting area for the Ford oval and a center bar. There are also 2 different F O R D lettered raptor style grilles. If you look closely at the bottom you will see what I am talking about. One style is made with a wider framed area along the bottom the other does not have that. The Grille in the top photo also has a wider bar then the grille in the lower photo.

I am trying to find out if the top grille has the bar and oval section molded into the whole grille or if it is screwed and clipped on like the grille in the bottom photo.

The folks at "Paramount" (DOOD grille) via (stage3Motorsports) must have updated the light situation..i just installed my grill last week.. I will tell you they are 100% amber. I purchased the F and R on Ebay (shipped within the USA not China) so the matte finish matches the other letters.

Default Painted Grill

Had it painted to match my 2015's body paint. Pretty happy with the result. Still need to wire the lights.

Both grilles have mesh behind the emblem bezel. I would think they wouldn't have bothered to put mesh back there if the bar wasn't removable.

I was struggling with that but, yes, I had the honeycomb painted. Very happy with the result. With a black truck, the only other option was to paint the honeycomb a matte black b/c I didn't think the gray looked good. I'd probably leave it gray on any other colored truck.
