Anyone else ever notice the similarity in the honeycomb design of the Mustang grille and the Raptor style grille?

I personally I like that about all these grilles more than anything.

Saw the high shipping price, but I'm in Canada. When I got mine, I got it shipped from California to Alexandria Bay, New York for free and picked it up across the border.

Top picture was the 9-inch F-150 emblem, I actually used a 13-inch Super Duty emblem.



I found a grille "skeleton" for the '11-'16 Super Duty that is meant for the higher trim levels and have the chrome or brushed pieces attached to it (XL grille is one-piece). I paid only $130 U.S. for it, Dremeled the emblem mount out of it and cut it down until the back of it was flush with the edge. I wanted as much surface at the back to glue to the grille's honeycomb.





I can still pop the emblem off the mount if I needed to replace it.

I find the Mustang grille and the Paramount F-150 grille have a thin honeycomb (flat) and seems less robust than the thick honeycomb (C-shaped) of the GalaxyMoto F-150 grille. The GalaxyMoto's mesh might not break as easily if impacted by a rock or debris.

Did a cheap and easy plasti dip of the grille to match the bumpers. Love how it came out.
