Will do my Raptor grille write-up soon when I take better pictures of the finished transformation.
I really like this version since my truck is not a raptor.

I was thinking of painting the border and the center line to match the truck and leaving the actual grille portion black. I think it would be a cool effect with the painted bezel that goes into the center of the light since it follows the same line (I assume). They have them in flat black, gloss black and chrome.

Problem is the matte black looks to be the same dark charcoal metallic used on all the other Chinese Raptor style grilles

Yeah I'm doing matte. It will match the black pieces on either side of the front plate.

Well I bought one. I'll let you know in a week. If I have to rattle can it matte black that's fine with me.
