Agreed but some other manufactures are smart and put the LED drivers that produce heat inside the housing in a way to help heat the lens so the ice melts off. Some shape the lens so the ice comes off easier..

This lens pretty much flat and catches all the rain/ice as you drive and the melt off the hood as well.

Yep. Big problem for municipalities everywhere that started transitioning to LED's for their street lights. They quickly found out that the heat from the traditional lights melted the ice and snow and helped keep the lights visible, and that the replacement LED's got iced over, never melted and lost or reduced their visibility for drivers.

Less energy = less heat. Sometimes that heat provided beneficial side effects that weren't taken into consideration.

The cabin on my rental Silverado was also much quieter than my F150.
I agree with these comments. Took a 16 GMC Sierra SLT with the 8-speed for a spin and was impressed with the truck. It was smooth up to 75mph, very quiet and the fit and finish was great (especially the panel stamping and alignment). Wife does not know it yet, but it's likely my '13 Platinum is going to be replaced with a Frost White Sierra in the near future.

I just traded in my 2014 Silverado LT because of the vibration/shake issue that GM still can't figure out. BTW it didn't start until I had 10k miles on it.

How is the adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring on the Silverado?

So do lots of F-150's and There are tons of things that can cause a vibration. Transmission mounts, motor mounts, gap of the torque convertor, drive shaft... I can keep going. I wasn't trying to be a smartass.

That said, I wish Ford had the 6.2 Chebby motor along with the 8spd.

To each their own. Neither 1/2 ton model really impresses me to be quite honest and I wouldn't be caught dead in a Dodge product.

The "6.2 Chebby" motor would be a step backwards in engine technology for Ford. Both the 5.3 and 6.2 engines are still pushrod, 2 valves/cylinder engines, and the V-6 Ecoboost engines out perform them.

As a comparison, the supercharged 6.2L LT4 in the Corvette has 650HP, the Supercharged 5.0L Coyote Cobra Jet develops 1000+ HP.
