Default GOODYEARS SUCK!!! Need honest opinion of replacement tires

I have a 2016 F150 5.0 3.55 with the sport package and 18inch wheels with the 275/65R18 Goodyear fortitude ht tires.
These tires are terrible I live in southern Ontario Canada where we have quite the mix of weather in winter. we can range from ice storms to wet snow to light fluffy powder in the course of a day. I've owed 3 trucks in my life and grew up with half a dozen others in my family and I've never felt unsafe until this truck. I know its the tires and I'm looking to replace them in the coming weeks I've narrowed my choices down to 3 E range all terrains and I'm looking for your opinions and hopefully personal usage of each tire so here it goes

TIRE #1

BFG TA KO2 275/70R18 = 33.3INCH
I've had these tires on my last truck and am leaning towards them again my only concern with them is, on my 2012 ecoboost max-tow I went from a 19mpg average to a 14.5-15mpg average. this is my only concern with buying again I don't want to take such a hit again. I've talked to a few tire shops and they say to expect a 1-1.5 mpg drop with any AT tire in E range, what I experienced was not normal and probably won't happen with this truck. can anybody verify?

TIRE #2

TOYO OPEN COUNTRY AT 275/70R18 = 33.3INCH
I have no experience with these tires but hear great things I am curious about real world economy and overall durability

TIRE #3 HERCULES TERRA TRAC AT2 275/70R18 = 33.3INCH

I like these tires because they have the most sipeing in the tread blocks out of the three tires I've listed. however they are not as well known as the other 2. I have no experience with these tires either and I'm just looking again for real world economy and overall durability.

I appreciate any feedback in helping me with my purchase... now HELP ME SPEND MY MONEY!!

Are you sure its the tires and not the lightness of the aluminum body?

I personally went with Cooper Discoverer m+s tires in 275/65 18. They are also winter rated so will be good for winter driving. However, i didn't notice the biggest difference until i changed the rear shocks to Fox racing shocks.

There are many vehicles lighter and heavier than an F150 on the road that ride and handle just fine.

I would question if it is the OEM rear shocks which seem to be junk. My 1984 F150 had better handling characteristics over stutter bumps.

I'm no help on the tires, but good luck with your purchase, I hope you gain the improvements you are looking for.

I really love my BFG AT KO2's that I have on my Expedition. Once the stock tires are shot I'm going to upgrade to a set of those.

I use general tire grabber at/2 excellent tires as my winter tire and I have the good year fortitude ht as my summer tires
