The wranglers fortitude are garbage. I remember losing traction in rain. Yet alone in snow, I would not run it. Scared the jezeebus out of me. Got rid of those and got some ko2's as a replacement in the summertime. Dedicated Winters are the way to go

The GoodYear Duratracs are the best snow tire IMO; they're pricey as an All-Terrain but severe weather rated and solid for Winter.

Second choice is BFG; had good luck with those as well.

If you get a decent amount of snow, dedicated is the way to go. With any vehicle.

They're great in desert sand as well!

I had the stock GY's on my 2016 and drove the Columbia Gorge in the recent s&*tstorm because I had to take my friend to the airport. They only had 4100 miles on them, so they weren't horrible but they certainly weren't preferable in the icy mix.

I bought new Cooper Discoverer M+S that day before coming home. Thanks Discount Tire! They closed the highway shortly after I got home. I was glad to have the M+S tires coming back.

Its been a stormy snowy mess here with more on the way. These Coopers inspire confidence. I took my 2 year old up to Mt Hood today to xc ski, whereas I would have been hesitant to take my child on bad roads with the stock tires.

I live in AR, we don't get real winter but the goodyear's that came on my '16 502a fx4 were terrible in the rain so I replaced them with KO2's before 1st 36 gallon tank was through, 2 weeks later we got a foot of snow and truck handled great.

We got snow on Saturday here in Iowa.. Either the roads were very slick or tires are terrible. Reading this, sounds like the tires just suck for the snow. My ABS was kicking on a lot without much brake pressure even at low speeds.

"All-seasons" should be renamed to "three-seasons", or "all-seasons-in-places-that-don't-get-snow".

If you get snow and cold weather, get snow tires. You'll never go back to the fake marketing term of "all-season" tires ever again.
