Default Goodbye 2015 xlt. Hello

I made the plunge to a new 17 Lariat 502. I really liked the 15 sport was the best vehicle I have ever owned. My lease was up and finance deal was better than lease, so that the way I went.
I sm so impressed with the quality of the 17. The fit and finish is perect. There are no paint issues that I've seen so far. I find the seats to be a bit softer and more comfortable than the cloth sports. You seem to sit it a further in making the bolsters a bit tighter. Soft touch on the dash and door is nice. Didnt realize there were so many ambient lighting areas. I have 360cam and lane keep. Honestly I would have skipped this option. I prefer the entire screen in backup and I dont really see the 360 view as being particularly handy for me. Then again its only been a day of ownership.
The lane keep only works with near perfect painted road lines and sometimes I dont even feel the steering vibrate over less than smooth roads. When it works though it works very well.
10spd is very smooth and shifts to different gears. Ie 1 3 5 7 8 9. A bit more throttle 1 2 4 5789.
Sorry I may be one of the few who like the augmented sound. Never could hear the turbos spooling unless beside a wall anyways.
Price wise the lariat is about 15000 more. I would have stayed in the xlt if I could not get a 502. The head lights are awsome. Plan on driving for 5 years or so. Dealer " included" 200km 5yr warranty in my deal.
White platinum with chome pkg. Glad to not have painted bumpers that chip on sight.

Congrats!
Try hitting the 360 button when backing up, you will still have your full backup screen. No way to change the default that I know of though.

Double ditto. They stick that on so many Lariats so every one I test drove had it. The salesmen love to point it out and demonstrate it, and each time, I thought, when I order, I'm not getting that. No regrets.

I may be the outlier here, but I actually really like the 360 view. It really is as if you are looking down from a drone, nice software tricks from the cameras to give you that perspective. Makes parking spot lane guidance that much easier.

.
Are you aware there are 3 levels of sensitivity on the lane keep? Put it on max and you'll notice it as it pulls you back into your lane.

Congrats and enjoy the heck out of your new truck.
