Got stuck at my girlfriend's condo on Clear Creek for 3 days. Moved my truck three times as the water kept getting higher. Finally was able to get out today before this next deluge came on. I was lucky too, when I got to my house all was good. Thoughts & prayers to all those affected ! https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...5375ea9cdf.jpg |
My thoughts are with all of you, try to stay safe and heed official warnings.
I was watching the news this morning and they said that the hurricane will turn back towards land, this time mostly affecting Louisiana. I also noticed in the video footage that they rescued some pets. I am glad that policies were implemented to save and/or reunite pets with their owners. I am a big dog person, so that matters to me as well. |

Streets that feed to our cul-de-sac were flooded and we were basically on a small island for two days and wife was in panic mode. Water has gone down considerably making our island bigger but still not able to get far. Past the stop sign is a lake, just typically not that full and not a part of our street.
Watching the news and we were very lucky to say the least. |
Here in south tx we didnt even get a single drop of rain. But did they raise the gasoline prices about 70 cents.
