Getting Greedy (or is it an addiction)
I have the G2 3.5 EB. Fun fun fun. I now understand the call for a 5.0 EB, however I am sober enough to realize that it would be WAY more power than should be in the hands of your average redneck (like myself). With that being said, my addiction to the power is growing daily. So it occurred to me, there are a lot of other displacements between 3.5 and 5.0!!!
Today, Ford has a huge array of EB engines: 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.3, 2.7, 3.0 and 3.5. Why not keep the trend going with a 4.0??? What kind of power would that produce? My guess is it would be right beside the AMG (500hp and 550flbs).
Sigh, is there such thing as EBA (Ecoboost Anonymous)?
What about a 4.3EB or even a 4.5??? (I just can't help myself...).

Right, BUT thats not an ecoBoost, that is a 5.0 with a massive SC.
There really is no need for a larger ecoBoost engine. The 3.5 is more than capable of producing near 900hp. Just not on the stock bottom end, and will also need the heads massaged a lil to flow more. Its cost prohibitive at this moment for Ford to venture down such a path on a new engine. They are still perfecting the 3.5 and 2.7.
Besides, if you doubt the lil eco 3.5 for power levels, look no further than the 2017 Ford GT. (not Mustang GT)

Due to superior hacking skills, I was able to breach the firewalls inside Ford Motor Company and discovered the specifications for the 2025 F150. Here you go:
- 5.5L Ecoboost
-- 1000 HP
-- 1000 Ft/lb
- MPG = 43
- Max Tow = 22,500 lbs
- Trim Level == Limited now standard
- Target Selling Price 25k
- Driving Modes - Standard, Sport, Tow and Autonomous
Seriously, would I lead you astray?
(Disclamer: Yes, I would lead them astray. Please do not send the FBI to my door.)

If a company that builds racing engines already has an eco @ 830hp on race gas/e85, I doubt very seriously if someone is going to come along and magically discover a way to get those numbers on pump gas.
The vid says 820 but they advertise the engine as 830 on their website.
https://www.danzioperformance.com/
Specs: Ford Ecoboost V6 Direct injected, Hogans intake,Custom Head porting,Custom Danzio Rods and pistons, 8000rpm max
Fuel:C12/E85
ECU: Life Racing F90RX, Optional F90A
Power: 830hpHp/700Tq
Base Price: $45000
edit: by pump gas I mean wide availability like 91/93, I'm aware a small minority of folks can buy e85 at the pump.
there are 3,354 E85 refueling stations in the United States as of August 1, 2014, this only represents approximately 2.4% of refueling stations nationwide according to data from the Oil Price Information Service.
