some where there is a law on vehicle mileage if being sold or junked. i believe it's a federal law. i can remember seeing papers saying something about being sure the mileage is correct.
but this law could just be for cars with higher mileage showing up with lower mileage. someone smarter then me should research it.

i would be unhappy with the transaction you got, i bet you at least 20 people from the dealer got in out of the truck you got and not one noticed the mileage was incorrect? bs.

i baught my truck with 12 miles on it and when filling out the paper work 2 people from the dealer went and verified the mileage. and they even made sure that i verify the mileage. i live in maryland. if you need anything on this side of the world pm me.

I see now why the local dealer didn't want to deal with you!

I don't understand that policy at all in fact. Do car dealership employees not own their own f'ing car to get to/from work?
In 2013 I bought a 2012 Chevy Camaro SS that the Dealerships secretary drove for a year, it had 3000 miles on it. They had it listed as a demonstrator model and the full factory warranty didn't start until I bought it. (I saved over ten grand) I haven't had one problem or issue with it and it now has 23,000 miles.
P.S. My salesman told me that secretary gets to pick a new car every year.

Very generous of you, I appreciate that offer. I believe the dealership and I are good now, they extended the factory B2B premium care warranty to 8yr/48k miles, that is sufficient. Very kind of you to offer though.

Pray tell.
What exactly did I do wrong here? Tell me what you're 'seeing'.

It's critical you understand that if the truck was listed accurately at 520 miles, I wouldn't have bought it. End of story.

Awesome to hear, looks beautiful. That would absolutely not fly with me though

Ignore fafa - just read his other posts and you will see that he is trolling.

I know I probably should. Some people just cannot resist posting a needless opinion on the internets though. I got sucked in.

As much as I think I have the right to post that because everything in this thread is factual, I honestly don't think their was malicious intent here nor intentional falsification of documents in order to sell the truck. There was just a whole slew of checks and balances that didn't work right, some T's that didn't get crossed and I's that didn't get dotted, and unfortunately those were big T's and I's for me. Out of respect to the dealership since there's no fraud and was a mistake that they must learn from, I won't post their name. Because had the truck shown up with 47 miles, there'd be nothing to write about here because this whole thing would have gone off without a hitch

I'm on my phone so quoting posts isn't easy, but you've alluded to the dealer extending your bumper to bumper warranty to 8 years. There is a HUGE difference between the factory bumper to bumper coverage and the extended service contract. The ESC cover a lot, but it is nowhere near as comprehensive as the factory B2B. Not saying the ESC is bad, but just know it's not an extension of the factory warranty.

What deductible did they give you?
