I just bought the same Ryobi unit and it works great for washing the truck.
the other benefit is the foam adds lubrication for the sponge so there is a less chance of scratching

So which foam cannon and pressure washer do you have? I've been looking into buying one this year, since it'll hopefully make washing my family's vehicles easier/quicker. I'd prefer an electric pressure washer, but will buy gas if I have to. I have plenty of other gas-powered toys and while I *could* store it in the sub-basement when not in use, electric would be safer for indoor storage IMO.

Also, are you using the foam cannon to deliver the soap, waiting a minute, and then just using your wash mitt to remove the dirt/soap, or are you still dipping the mitt into a bucket before applying to the vehicle?

Thanks,

-John

I have the MTM foam cannon, works great with a decent powered pressure washer. Also, use warm water in the cannon mix, it promotes more foam. I use the honey dew foam soap, it smells and works great.

Adams polish for the cannon, ryobi for the power washer. And I do foam dip and wash. And repeat

Not impossible, that is a lot of work in 4 hours, especially hand polish/wax,hats off to ya.
Trucks looks awesome BTW,great work.
To do a complete exterior wash and clean/dry,polish (glaze) wax (with a machine),dress tires, dress interior, dress under the hood on my black Platinum takes me 10-12 hours and that's working very efficiently with few breaks.
It's a labour or love.

Thanks guys. And my paint wasn't all that bad so I didn't have to work real hard with the polish
