Default Fuel Wheels - Weak Warranty

FYI post

had mine now for a few months and the logo cap attached to the wheel cover came off on one of the wheels. Fuel apparently doesn't warranty these caps as they are not part of the wheel. That's a load of crap. I expected better from Fuel... Now I have to pay 35$ because of Fuels defective part. Weak sauce.

i think he is referring to the adhesive attached fuel logo on the centercap. and at that point it should be under warranty barring any damage that might have made it release. just my opinion

My apologies op, ive had fuel wheels for 4 years now and had no idea the logo was attached by adhesive. Ive always though it was just all 1 pc. Either way though you cant really **** on fuel for this unless its a common occurrence. Who knows some one else who lost one could have pried yours off lol

if it's just the logo that's a bummer they won't send one out, easy fix to make customer happy. you may want to push a bit on who you purchased from and had install the wheels, especially if it's the entire cap. I had a fuel wheel replaced due to poor finish after about 6 months, with the backing of discount tire.

any chance you have a pic of the wheel cap? curious if I can take them off as I'm planning to finish dechroming in the spring.

This was from Fuel, or who you purchased the wheels from?
I deal directly with Fuel, and that seems out of character for them.

The wheels are from a Fuel dealer. I wasn't able to find a direct contact to Fuel to discuss the matter. Do you have a contact by chance? Thanks

The issue isn't money here, it's about a respected company not standing behind their product.

would defintley push on your installer to get this replaced. these caps are a pain to remove when installed properly. see a contact form on fuels site but that’s about it.

I had the exact same thing happen to my rim. I have Cali Offroad Busted's, but they are made by the same company. The logo comes off so they can use the same center cap across multiple brands. It's held in by a spring. Tire shop I bought mine from replaced my center cap for free. Mine were $50 each. (center caps)
