Default Frustrated with my F-150.

I love my F-150 but the driveline vibes are so frustrating.

I find it stress relieving to listen to this song. lol I think I'll queue it up the next time I get pulled over for speeding because my truck shakes when I drive slower.

Remove your plate and drive as fast as you want.

Like I have read on other threads when the dealer just changes the driveshaft and it doesn't fix the problem, take it to a 4X4 shop that can balance your driveline.

Then set up your driveline yourself.

This did come out of the dealer tech's mouth a few times, but never did anything about it.....

Solving the problem of driveline vibration. Driveline geometry. The process that can be used to address a condition called driveline/universal joint cancellation, often referred to as adjusting pinion angle. This process can be used to eliminate the vibration and premature wear caused by improper orientation and phasing of the driveline.

This condition is caused because every U-joint that operates at an angle creates a vibration. It creates that vibration because the U-joint cross rotates with the shaft in a circular motion while also moving from front to rear. That rocking back and forth motion as it rotates causes the cross in the U-joint to accelerate and decelerate.

How much angle is induced with some of these "big" lifted trucks? How is that compenstated because wouldn't there would be a big difference from OEM. Wouldn't lifting induce a lot of premature wear on many driveline parts?

I only ask because I've never done a lift on any of my truck.....
