NHTSA Complaint Form
So after reading through one of the other threads about the frozen door issue, one of the other members suggested filing a complaint with the NHTSA. I went to the website and filled it out. It took less than five minutes. I think this is a good idea because it will start a record of how many people are really having issues.

What I found weird is that if you search for "2015 Ford F150" there are zero issues being reported with the truck. There should be a record of this happening. Even if you have the TSB completed and are satisfied with the results, please fill out this form so that it gives those still having issues more support when they go to the dealer or Ford for a resolution.

I wrote Donald Trump. He is going to take care of this.

Ford Customer Service
I've just started having the frozen locks. What ticks me off is that Ford knew this was an issue when they sold me the 2016 model truck last summer. I brought my truck in for 5000 mile service earlier in the fall. I specifically asked the service tech if there were any recall issues with my truck. He punched the VIN in the computer and said there was nothing. That is because the frozen latch issue is not a safety recall (how can it NOT be?). Ford could have been proactive. Now that it is January and my doors are freezing, the parts to fix it are on back order.
Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit. That may be the only thing that gets Ford's butt into gear.

I haven't read through the entire thread, and only skimmed the recent TSB, but thought I'd chime in ...
First, my local dealer is stating there is NO solution from Ford at this time. The TSB referenced here is not resolving customer issues on all trucks. They believe it's down to the grease, but nothing has been issued and Western Washington dealers are not even taking trucks in at this time due to the problem (i.e., no fix). ...

My 2016 Lariat experienced this issue this week. Took it into the dealer today after I couldn't "exercise" the latches into working and they did the temporary fix. They confirmed the TSB and ordered the parts. Said they're on backorder for at least a few weeks. 800 miles on the truck, feel like I got kicked in the nuts.
Update on my truck
had the truck to the dealership for frozen door locks and frozen tailgate. they ordered the parts for the door locks (all 4 doors) and they are surprise surprise on back order and it will be 2-3 weeks. I will follow up in 2 weeks to make sure i am still on the radar. ...

Both rear door locks inoperative this afternoon (17F). Both front doors were fine this time. Called and am scheduled to have the TSB done (in 2 weeks) but was told parts are on national backorder so it might be even longer.
Good news is it is supposed to warm up this week, bad news is rain while it is warm, probably followed by frigid temps again.

In struggled with this issue all last year and fords useless fix if greasing things up which worked for 3-4 days.
I currently have been without my truck for 3 weeks now (they have me in a 16 Chevy truck) we are still waiting on parts but only waiting on one cord then we can start the work. ...

I feel for those who deal with this. So far after the last fix, extreme cold, and washing my truck, all works fine. I really think this fix will come down to how good the tech is and how much time and effort they take to put things together right and not just slap parts into it. An 11 hour job paying 7 leaves a lot of incentive to cut corners and just spray and pray with lube. My dealer had the mentality to fix mine no matter the hours it took so they could learn from mine. I think they took the driver's door apart 3 times alone. I spent $80,000 in their service department last year, so maybe taking care of mine was worth a little extra attention on their part.
I'm glad the TSB has worked for you, but claiming that the TSB is s success based on a sample size of one night isn't exactly reassuring. My truck has been in for service trip number 3 since Wednesday for this exact issue. The truck didn't freeze after the TSB work was done until about 7 days later the first time and then about another week later it did it again. The problem is intermittent. Hopefully your truck stays working. ...
