Air compressor, is o.k. Just takes Alot longer, to do the same thing!
Leaf blower all the way!! Compressed air is not ok if you have moisture in your air tank and cruddy air lines! Lol I made a mess of my Mustang once using compressed air lol.

I just did the samething the other day, only I used Liquid Glass. It's not a wax, however. It's supposed to have a carbon resin in it. Weird thing is, you're supposed to apply it in the sun. Help bake it in, appearantly. I can say for certain though, once applied, it's has a much slicker feel to it, when compared to a good wax. Water also beads like crazy. I bought it on Amazon, which had a much better price than even Walmart. If you apply 4 coats, it supposedly will protect it for a year. Then once a year after that. Not that I'm this crazy, but, 25 Coates makes it chip resistant.

Looks great! Did you clay bar first? That's the magic bullet for an awesome finish.

I clay bar, polish (Meguiar's Mirror Glaze 9) and wax every 6-8 weeks. A must down here in Florida with a truck that sits outside all the time.

Been using the Liquid Glass since the 80's. Always have people say how deep the paint looks.

I generally spend 2 to 3 hours just washing my truck. 1 hour to Wash, 1 hour to dry, then another hour, getting the water out of the nooks and crannies!
That's why I use my leaf blower first to get most of the water off and out of nooks and crannies
Works really well !!
