Both sides are touching on the inside yep. Do you think it came from the factory incorrect or it was a bad assembly job?

I am most likely going to do that but they are over an hour away and coordinating someone to follow you that far is a PITA to arrange not to mention all that wasted gas. Not a happy camper here but I appreciate everyone's help and insight

Can't you just lift the wheel off of the ground by jacking the truck up and adjust the 'nut' (or lock collar) with the spanner? You shouldn't need a spring compressor - at least that's how my old ICONs were.

edited: Also, look for a hexagonal head cup point set screw that you might need to loosen before adjusting the lock collar. The old ICONs had that too.

Don't know. How did they look before the install? Can you see anything out of place with the spring where they should be seated at?

Are the springs touching towards the top? maybe the springs came out of the adjusting collar seat?

Ok so I am not 100% certain that both sides didn't touch because when I got home tonight I looked and the left side shock was seeded perfectly in the middle but the right was way off. Here are the photos I just took. You can see the rubbing that has been taking place on the right shock where as when I looked at the left one I didn't see any marks on the shock body. I always heard the noise when I rocked the truck plus the video was recorded from the right side so it must have been only the right one that is and was rubbing. I was in such a mad hysteria that I didn't bother to inspect both sides with a fine tooth comb like I am doing now. Pics below

Looks like the shop that did the install just bought a pair of Fox Shox...

Looks like its not seated correctly. If that's the case it should be an easy fix for the shop, unless we are not seeing everything. They must have had a hell of a time with it during the install "disassembly" or whatever they did. I doubt it screwed anything up other than the threads which you may never need to use again anyway since its at set height. However the shop is responsible for making it right. You know what you call a doctor who had a "D" average? A doctor. Everybody is not a professional because they have a title or shop sign.
