Yes, the bushing is visible at the top of the shock even when mounted, its right underneath the shaft washer and nut. I would inspect after every off-road trip and see if they become distorted or worn.

man that sucks. and sadly this isn't the first review of fox 2.0 i read with about the same complaint. for me, they seam like a high cost & high maintenance option. definitely not fitting to my low maintenance lifestyle. i can't blame you for going off on them, actually surprised they wouldn't let u pay to upgrade to the 2.5's
Fox never offered me any kind of options, their stance was that it's my fault and you pay to fix it, that's it, they didn't care that I was a repeat customer across their product line at all. I was shocked that they couldn't try and work something out with me to get me into a more suitable product, nor did they try to offer some kind of comprised solution on fixing my 2.0 shocks. They could have offered a discount price, or offered to have me pay the rebuild cost and then they would cover the parts replacement costs, but nope nothing. That's why I decided that I will eat the cost of these shocks and stick it to them.

They are huge in customer service..Stage3 did a review on the halo coilovers and said they are good, but setup for more street and now and then offloading. I had issues with fox on my 14 and same thing...customer service blew chunks...of all people, Alex at Halo (boss at the time) helped me thru it and he didn't even sell them to me.
Halos handle Chicago streets good enough for me on my 16

Agreed, honestly this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had for an aftermarket product. I've purchased a lot of aftermarket products over the years for mustangs, rangers and for other hobbies(mtbs) and occasionally I've had a issue with a product and was always taken care of in some way.

I tried to install the tapered ones and had terrible vibes, so I contacted readylift about if the blocks were usable with some sort of solution aka carrier bearings etc. They said no but offered to send out a new flat set free of charge no questions asked, and I didnt even buy the blocks from them initially. I asked about sending the tapered block set back and they said dont worry about it. They had no obligation whatsoever to just send me a new block kit with u bolts free of charge, but they did. Granted its not the same price point as coilovers but thats awesome customer service and I never hesitate to share that story. Something other companies should make a note of.

This is a disappointing thread to read. I just installed my Fox 2.0s in the rear today. I sure hope I don't run into these problems. I had ranchos on my 06 and loved them, but I figured I would give the 2.0s a shot because of all the positive reviews I read!

I agree with them, the Boss/Halo design is better then the Fox one, the top hat doesn't wrap around the coil so you don't get the rubbing of the coil on the top hat and you can actually adjust the ride height with a spanner wrench unlike the Fox. I'm not sure how they hold up over long periods of time on washboard roads since its still a 2.0 without a reservoir though. The F150 lifts customer service speaks for itself though, so there is also that going for them also.
