Default Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Installed - Now I Want The Fronts

Was going to wait for the Bilsteins because I wasn't all that familiar with Fox products, but reading the reviews on this forum tempted me to give them a try. Unboxed and was immediately impressed with the build quality. Also very happy they're made in the USA.

Install went smooth and relatively easy with a little bit of elbow grease to compress the shock, but nothing incredibly difficult.

Significantly better control in the rear. The stock FX4 was very jittery. The Hellwig sway bar helped quite a bit, but the rear still got unsettled a little more than I liked now and then over rough roads. The Fox 2.0's really improved the overall stability. Seems much more planted on rough roads without increasing ride harshness. Definitely an improvement over the stock shocks.

Now I want the front coil overs. Of course, that's a much more significant investment, but if the rear shocks are any indication I think they'd be a great upgrade - plus I'd get a built in leveling capability. Guess it is time to start saving some pennies.

Stage3Motorsports was having a sale and I picked them up for a little over $200. Normal price runs $260.

Ok, thanks. Can these be installed without jacking the truck up?

Yes, that's how I did mine. Some prefer jacking up and taking a wheel off. From the ground was easy enough to me.

Depending on how stout you are you may could use an extra hand compressing them to get the bolt in. Other than that its easy!

Was also waiting for Bilsteins. But reviews here on Fox look good. What is the part number for the Fox that you installed?
