Hey guys, I have been searching the forums arms Google and can't find a definitive answer. I finally got my Fox 2.0's installed today and as I went to get back into my truck I saw that they were installed upside down I have read that this is ok because the are nitrogen and I have read that it is not ok because water, sand, etc can make its way into the seal. I do have the shields installed also, not sure it that helps being upside down. I spent $100 to have them installed and I am a bit frustrated.

If the should be flipped is this something I can fix myself with a ratchet set or do I need to take it back in (to a different place). If I do need to take it back in I don't want to go back to the same place.

We always mount them like this, Ive seen them mounted either way.

I installed mine just like Stage 3 did. I did my install yesterday which I bought the shocks from them. I would install them this way, for the reasons you had mentioned to avoid dusk/water/dirt/mud/snow sitting on top of that dust cover portion of the shock and possibly getting into the reservoir or wearing out the seal. If you paid someone $100 to install them, they are making out like champs with how easy the install is! So they can afford to flip them over the right way for you. By the way, thanks for the 20% off on the Fox shocks Stage 3!!! Will do business with you guys again!

Do I need a jack or can I just take out the bolts on level ground? F*** I am pissed.

Yes, they certainly do! Mine came in last week from Stage 3. I installed them on Saturday and tested them right away on a big road bump near my house where my truck did the side hop every time. I'm happy to report that it doesn't do the bunny hop anymore!

Very easy to install and pleased with the performance, and they look good too under there. I am now considering the fronts. I currently have a auto-spring 1.5" level on the front. If I put the front adjustable shocks, would I remove the spacer? Or does it matter if I leave it in?

Just ordered the rears. Will do the front coilovers in about a month. Is there a video on how to install the rears? I'm pretty good at wrenching, but never have done suspension type stuff. Thanks!

Yes they do, totally eliminated the rear steer, ride is not harsher, truck feels more solid without the shudder across bumps. Confidence restored!

No jack needed. Mine arrived from Stage 3 today, install took about 30 minutes total for both sides.
