Default Fox 2.0 front shock install cost?

I just traded my 10 SCrew in for a 2015. I ordered the Fox 2.0 shocks from Stage3Motorsports. I called a couple of local shops and they want $400 to $500 for install and alignment. It seems like a lot to me. I installed Bilstein 5100's on my 2010 and I didn't think it was too bad. Do I attempt it myself or have somebody do it for me? What are you guys paying for shock or level kit installs?

It isn't hard to do yourself if you can. A lift is easier but can be done with a jack and jack stands.

The FOX kit comes with decent instructions. Follow those and have a ball joint separator handy and it's a pretty easy job. I was able to get mine out and the FOX units in without taking the axles out. My upper ball joints were stubborn and didn't want to separate but nothing a proper ball joint separator couldn't fix.

I did my own, it's not that difficult at all. I had Bilsteins on my 05 and did those also. The 2.0s come with the springs installed already so you just have to swap the old with the new! There should be YouTube videos for the 2.0s or a level video will work also since it's basically the same process!

These work with 2wd? Just looking to level and I assume these would be better than a regular leveling kit. I was waiting for the Bilstein 5100s for the 15+.

Do you have more pics of your truck with them installed? Can you give a little feedback on the ride? I hate the wallowy boat like ride with the stock shocks.

OP the install is pretty easy other than getting the struts out if you don't loosen the lower control bolt.

I watched the video before I ordered them. I don't know why but messing with the axles makes me nervous. If I don't drop my truck through the ice this coming weekend I will do it the following.
