Default Fox 2.0 Coilover noise

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I just had a set of Fox 2.0 coilovers installed on my 2015 F150. The ride is great and the handling is much improved over stock. My only complaint, the shocks make noise as they are compressing and as they are rebounding.

It is not a loud noise, but consistent. The shocks compress and rebound smoothly, just noisily. I Googled this trying to find some answers, but found nothing. I only have 100 miles on them so far and hope that it will go away once broken in. However, I had F150 Lifts on my last 150 and they were silent from the beginning.

Any advice and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Seems you're not the only one.

Wonderful. Thats not what I wanted to read at all. However, its not a rubbing noise that I am hearing. Ill go look at them in a bit, but I think its the springs rebounding that is making the noise.

I'm having this same issue. Just installed mine and when I go over a driveway curb for example I get a screech that sounds like an old creaky spring. I checked them out and everything looks aligned fine, etc

I wonder if the UCA's might need some grease. May not be the coilovers.

grease where on the UCA I don't see anywhere on mine I can grease? I have a basic 6" fabtech kit on my truck with the strut spacer and stock coil over, my coil over makes all kind of racket when I bounce the front end up and down.. it sounds like a sqeeking shock or the coil spring having a bunch of tension applied to it.

It's probably just the groove being rubbed into the coil by the top cup. But don't worry that's normal and how it's supposed to be per fox customer support.

I've heard a lot of guys have had weird noises with these coilovers. I seem to be one of the few lucky ones that don't have any noises.
