It looks like the value at:

726-50-01 40BE is DRL - Low Beams and Dedicated DRL. Which is the outputs at pins 36 & 40.

So you want to use the signal from one of the pins to trip your front sensor on when you take the truck out of Park, and your low beams come on as DRL, correct? Good idea. Report back if that works.

Edit: I see you don't want the low beam DRLs. Did you try 108E instead of the above? That should be the dedicated DRLs only. You need to have the 7F value at 726-45-01 set also for any of these to work.

Sorry, I was trying to accomplish two goals. 1) Enable my custom DRLs without the low beams engaging and 2) Enable the front park sensors when not in Park. Goal 2 is not going to work, as I confirmed that pin 40 is not powered when the full headlight (night time) is enabled.

I believe I did try this combination, but I will go retest.

Love it.

Big shout-out to the Ford employees who wish they could post but can't because company policies don't allow. But they do give us software and systems that challenge us but don't really hold us back from unleashing for pennies what would otherwise cost us dollars or not be offered.

FORD stands for Free Or Reduced Drastically, and that is what this thread is all about - get the features free or drastically reduced.

We resume our normal programming, which for me is adding APA. Inside done now for the outside work.

Is there a way to activate automatic climate control in an XL/XLT? I have the feature on the climate buttons I activated on sync3 but I have the manual dials. I suspect I have to have a different climate control module to do so? OR is there something in the software that can activate it?

you would need to swap out the bezel. but then you would loose the heated seats (if you have them) and the dual zone won't work

I don't have heated seats or dual zone. XL with STX package.

Okay than look for a lariat or up bezel if you want the auto temp to work.
