what should i do from here?
Make sure you aren't running the OBDWiz software that shipped with the MX BT. Try connecting in this order:
1. Make sure truck is turned off and accessory timeout has expired
2. insert MX BT into OBDII port and and power truck on (without engine running).
3. Launch FORScan & press connect

Edit: and make sure you followed the pairing process as described in the MX BT instructions.

Any possibility to adjust the sensitivity of the front windows so you don't get bounce back with In Channel Wind Visors?
This is something I don't think you would want to change. The last thing you would want is it to put more pressure on to get the window closed.
This keeps your hand from getting stuck in the window or a child or animal, etc.
I have the same issue with my Weather Guard visors. Its habit now that if it doesn't close the first time, close it again and hold the button until it closes.

Thanks. I'll try that when I get home. Going to dinner in my wife's crap Dodge Avenger, haha. I hate not being in my truck!
I'll have to find the instructions. This is the first time I've used it in a couple/few months.

I wonder if this is something similar to my 2012 Mustang. When you open the door, the window cracks open just a bit. When you close the door, the window then goes back up and closes fully after the door latches shut. This is to relieve air pressure in the cabin when closing the door.
I'll have to try it on mine and see if it is similar.

Hello friends,

I wanted to ask if you could help me out. I currently own a 2015 Mustang GT with the collision warning system. I ripped the radar our, because I wanted to swap the lower grille, which was fine for me, since I never used the adaptive cruise control anyways and I loathe the forward collision warning. Now everytime I start the car, I get a popup warning saying that the "forward collision warning system" is not available. I would love to disable the adaptive cruise control and the forward collision warning system. Do any of you knowledgeable people know how to accomplish this via forscan?

Thank you kindly for your time

My '07 is the same. The reason is it's a frameless window and when you close the door the window goes up into the seal. If it didn't it would ride on the outside of the seal and you would get a lot of wind noise and water intrusion. Has nothing to do with relieving air pressure.

Default BMS Setting?

I note that the Battery Monitoring System settings in the spreadsheet are as follows:

726-04-01 xxx2 xxxx xxxx Battery Monitoring System Enabled
726-04-01 xxx0 xxxx xxxx Battery Monitoring System Disabled

However, in my 2017 F150 the original setting for 726-01-01 is xxx1 xxxx xxxx. Does that mean the Battery Monitoring System is half enabled?

There are two different battery monitoring sensors used by Ford... the 1 vs 2 just means you have the other style sensor... other than that same difference to turn it off.

I have had this setting enabled for a few months now... never got a real description of what it does.

However, I believe it is for the sunroof... when I have this setting enabled and my sunroof is vented open... when I shut my car off and open the drivers door. The sunroof closes itself.

Your middle set of numbers does not match "04" I think you may be looking at the wrong row?
