11.5 is low, with the engine running it should be over 13.0 volts. Engine shut off you should be 12v or slightly above. I will check mine when I get home. My power point was still on last night when I got home, so it's been on 30 hours at least.

Another question, what are you guys using to actually make the changes, a laptop with a blue tooth dongle or are you close enough to the house you are using a desktop with bluetooth dongle?

I only have a desktop and an iPad, laptops are so 2013

I was using a laptop, but then bought a $100 Windows 10 tablet specifically for this.

If you have the connector, this is where the RBM would plug in:

Did anything further come of this? I dropped the back seats and pulled the insulation down and unless it's *really* well hidden, a Lariat, even with 502a and tech package, doesn't even have the wiring connectors for the OEM running boards that we'd connect a module to, so looks like we're out of luck going that route.

What can the IPC and OEM running boards do that can't be done with the AMP ones? Just manually opening/closing them without the door opening/closing?

Anyone figure out another way to work the AMP boards from the IPC? I expect that's too much incompatible hardware, but doesn't hurt to ask in case someone got creative. On the AMP boards, with the ODBII connector, is the only advantage that you don't have to splice wires?

Sorry if this went a bit off topic.

I'm using an old Asus EEE netbook running win xp that I found laying around. Just added the bluetooth dongle and was good to go. Handy because it's small enough to leave in the console. Proof that FORScan doesn't have very high requirements.
