I'd just get the two mentioned terminal inserts... one for the BCM and one for the switch... run your own wire between the two. Then install the newer switch with both lane depart and parking aid.
Unless C215 is prewired.
I have the wire to the switch. When I looked before, I didn't have it the whole way apart and couldn't see it. It bugged me enough pull the whole top off and check. Lol

What I plan to do is see if in fact there is a way to utilize the second port on the apim...if in fact there is no way to get it to recognize devices when plugged up, I will use it as a charging only connection...because as is, this is what it does when a USB cable is connected to the apim and one of the other hubs...it will only charge that device...now when you unplug the USB cable from the apim, no device will charge, so something is working.... To continue I will try a mini Y-plug to the main USB on the back of the apim and see if that one usb port can work with 2 USB hubs....... The yellow wire on the wpt-1239 harness is for power and the blue wire is for ground...iirc these wires are for the back light. Only the #1 and #4 terminals are used when ordering this pigtail fyi.
Thanks. Hopefully, you can get the second port working. Otherwise, I think I'll look for another charging solution as I don't think that the factory USB ports provide full power. Could be wrong on that though.

Hi all, I'm working on getting a Sync 3 setup swapped into my 2013 (I know this is the 2015+ section), and I have a couple of quirks that I know are APIM AsBuilt related, wondering if anybody has run into them while tinkering with their Sync 3 APIM AsBuilt -

- The clock shows --:-- on the top bar. It shows correct time in the clock settings and I can set it and change the settings there perfectly, it just doesn't show up on the top bar. It shows up correctly when I first start the truck and the unit powers up, but goes to --:-- right away.

- I can't select presets in XM or the radio. Long pressing them does change it to whatever channel I'm currently on to save the preset, but short pressing to actually go to the channel doesn't work. I can use the physical tuner **** or steering wheel controls to go through the channels just fine, however.

I haven't had a chance to play with it yet... I actually was going to a couple months ago but never got around to it.

I was going to see about a second hub in my glove box.

FYI... you shouldn't use that Y adapter. The USB is an interface and not a USB hub on that cable... it cannot handle 4 devices at once. You may cause more issues than good. 2 devices (1 hub) per usb cable. Use the second port for charging only for now... I never got around to trying the SD Card bit or the USB2 bit (previously mentioned). I enabled them a few months ago in my APIM, but never pulled it apart to test.

The first sounds like a clock master setting issue... keep in mind your truck doesn't use the new CAN bus style. You are bound to have issues.

Sounds like an ACM issue... all the presets are stored in the ACM. I would try and get your hands on a 2015 ACM.

Speaking of clocks... think theres a way to get the outside temp on the dash cluster like in the fusions/explorers? I know they're totally different types, but you never know...

I know the code to turn on the OAT and OAT Source (FCIM) usually... however, even if this is enabled it is controlled via firmware. If the firmware doesn't have it present, changing the as-built won't make it show up.

Similar to the global window or reverse mirror tilt controls. If firmware doesn't have them, as-built doesn't work to make them show up.

Default 2017 3.5 Ecoboost

I just received my 2017 F150 Platinum 3.5 Ecoboost today. Would it be helpful to post screen shots of FORScan so everyone can see what modules it can read? There are 2 modules that are different from the 15/16 that are not on the spreadsheet that Livnitup posted. Major thanks to him and all those that contributed to to building that sheet by the way!! It is extremely helpful for those of us that are still trying to figure things out.

I can also post the window sticker or any other information anyone would like to see about my particular truck.

What modules are different? The spreadsheet only lists some modules, there are many many more.

This should have been a menu setting! I am going to experiment with some of the other values...
More info on the mislock horn values. I shut off #5 to kill the horn double honk when leaving the car after locking with interior lock with FOB still in car.

Today, when locking with FOB in my hand, the double press honk did not work... so I figured that got disabled also... came out from work at end of the day and saw my drivers door ajar. Turns out, it disabled the double honk on fob press when door still ajar, not the good lock confirmation... Glad it was not raining... so the mislock fields seem to disable all cases where a mislock double honk occurs, with no way to differentiate. So I will need to turn it back on, since knowing when all doors are locked when I have FOB in hand is more important than the double honk when keys left in car. I just wanted to post this so it can be added to the spreadsheet for those fields.
