Anybody know if it is possible to adjust the power sent to the power steering? It seems there is more power assist at low speeds.

Anybody remember seeing a remote start heated seats on temperature setting also? I'd like to be able to have the heated seats come on with remote start at a higher temperature. Right now it hasn't been cold enough to trigger the seats, only the steering wheel.

Finally remembered to change the Sync name from "Sync" to Ford F-150. Not a must do, but nice if you have more than 1 Ford in the family.

Question Dazed & Confused- (Battery, not Led Zeppelin)

16 XLT 302a, 2.7 in service 2 years. Been forscanning with my charging system to no avail. BMS enabled, BMS disabled, no matter. Scope traces show charging voltage 14.9-14.4 depending on bat temp. Charging current drops to 1amp within 5-10 minutes. Truck starts just fine even at 0F. Truck gets 14-16 hours of overnight rest for battery SOC. I have left the hood ajar overnight so I can check BAT Volts without tripping any switches and waking up modules. Resting voltage 12.4-12.6. Parasitic draw 30-50 milliamps. SOC shows anywhere from 1-35%. Why is this? Posted originally on 2014 thread but no response, so I thought I'd try here.

Next item. Motorola has a smartphone MOTO G6 available at an attractive price. Anybody know if it is compatible with SYNC 3? Ford has no idea, and I'm not a phone testbed.

Thanks all,
Tom

Default Default sport mode

Ok guys and gals. I like many others have been hoping for a long time to get default sport mode on start up. I think unless we gain access to the PCM its not going to happen, of coarse what do I know. But, I decided to tackle this project a while back and finally had time to get it working with a wiring mod. I know its not Forscan but since its been ask for so many times I thought I would let you all now I got it working and posted a wright up here:

in the spreadsheet. I think it’s in the APIM section.

Well I just tried this as listed on the spreadsheet: 7D0-04-01 xxxx xxxx **xx. (** changed to 0E for F150) but no joy! My full line as built settings are 7D0-04-01 0100 0000 00DD.

Anyone else have this issue. I have "forgotten" sync on my phone and deleted the phone from the truck, verified the setting in Forscan and reconnected via BT. The phone (iPhone X) only finds the truck as SYNC.

Anything else to try?

That just doesn't work so well if you're going to be working on things for a while. Mousing and typing while twisting your torso far enough to use the keyboard (on a 17" laptop setting on the console lid) is just uncomfortable. I have a USB extension cable that lets me sit outside the truck and work it, but that's no fun outside in 20 degree weather either, not to mention having to flip that little switch constantly. That's why I would buy the bluetooth adapter if I had to do it over again.
