I have read the forscan developers have enabled calibration for ACC sensors.
Can we ask them to add a toggle for enabling self programming for keys? 2018's are locked out from being able to self program.
My dealer insists that only they can program keys, and want $55 for each key.
My Solus only reads up to 2017 vehicles, so it might be another year or more before the next update to allow me to get into my 2018 and see if I can self enable the programming.
If anyone with more experience with the developers wants to reach out and see if they will take this on, it would be appreciated.

On page 77 of the 2018 owners manual explains how to program a new key providing you have two existing keys. I did it in my 2017. After $40 for the key $5 to have it cut I programmed the key with no problem

I am fully aware of how to self program the keys. for 2018 Ford has disabled the owners self programming.
I spent over an hour trying multiple times to get it to program, then I started to google around. I came to realize I am not the only owner with this problem.

No reason you couldn't go over on the Forscan website and ask. What can they say?

Gordy, great tip. I totally forgot about the forum side of Forscan. I asked my question over there since it's not really related to the F150. Thanks
