That or turn on your smart phone flashlight and put it on the ambient light sensor for a minute. You'll know your truck is tricked when Sync 3 or your radio switches into day mode.

Aside from that:
DRL switch must be in auto position
DRL check box must be checked
Truck must be in gear (place in Neutral and throw on the e-brake if you need to exit to check your lights).

In the Spreadsheet there is a "Dark Police" value in the BCM IIRC; Anybody know what exactly that entails? I activated it and the only difference I see is that all the dash lights and screens are dimmed to the darkest setting until the key is put into position. Already have the dome lights off when doors are open per overhead switch.

I use dark mode on the 2014 because even with the door light switch in the cancel position the bed lamps still come on and with the SpaceCap on the truck it reflects all the light back in the cab. In MayFly season in the prairies the the less light in the cab the better.

On 2015 and newer trucks it prevents the entry/
exit mirror flood lights, bed lamps, and interior lights from illuminating when the doors are open.

Even with the dome light switch in the amber cancel position your mirrors will normally illuminate. Dark Mode would prevent that.

Ambient colour lighting still comes on though which is sufficient in my opinion. I set my door ajar error colour to purple.

The other fine touch is that your dome light cancel switch is always illuminated if you normally have it enabled. Dark Mode prevents the need to use that switch.

If you killed your BCM with the 726-22 line and have the flashing the dome lights of death there is a separate way to disable your dome lights I documented here a few hundred pages ago.

Do the Dark Mode changes available with FORScan add a control to the dash display? Or does it turn it on and off through a means available only in FORScan? I'm hoping I can choose to turn it off only on the occasions that warrant it.

Newbie here. I've successfully FORscanned several option changes from the common list but am wondering if these capabilities are available:

1. I'd like the unlock button to unlock both doors and tailgate with one push of the button vs. only the drivers door
2. I'd like to see the tranny gear displayed in D (not just M)

My truck is a 2018 STX

While in D press the + button for the gears.
There should be an option through the display and steering wheel controls to change the unlock/lock functions.

Thanks.

I also discovered that if you press the lock and unlock buttons on the keyfob for 4 seconds then all the locks will be set to unlock with one click. No Forscanning needed.

There is also a setting in your IPC for unlocking/locking front or all doors. No Forscan needed.
