What does enabling the Battery Monitoring System actually do? In my truck it looks like it is disabled right now:

Battery Monitoring system keep the battery level above 11.6 volts. When modules are left on and the level get below 11.6 volts the BCM will isloate the battery to keep enough juice in it for starting. Yes it look like it is on in your truck. Some trucks have a 1 other a 2. One thing for it to work, you need to have the current device it a ring looking thing right off your negative side of your battery that the negative cable pass through it.

Thanks. Livinitup, might want to add a note that it can also be xxx1 for Enabled.

Good day sir I’m new to the forms I have been trying to disable daytime running lights on my 2017 F150 Canadian truck , trough FORScan and I have been reading a lot of the post but I don’t know how to add and where do I connect the additional daytime running lights when I turn off the low beam DRL witch is factory set. There is some Instructions to use pins ( 36 left & 40 right) for light bar or any additional accessory lights to be added asDRL , but I don’t know how and where to connect to achieve that. I do want DRL’sbut not my low beams . I have some Amber LED strips I would like to ad & get them hoked as DRL
Any information will be greatly appreciate it !
Thanks & God bless

quick question/comments: 2018 Platinum - this may be common knowledge, but i haven't see it.
1. global windows do not work after starting with remote start.
2. reverse tilt only works if i select the mirror prior to or while in reverse - only selected mirror moves - no selection = no movement, selected mirror goes back to normal when reverse camera turns off (driving forward).
I actually like the way it works - didn't sound like how it was intended. (followed procedure listed)

1. Global windows will not work with remote start, the BCM only turns on selected things to run the truck and heat/cool if needed.
2. all correct, it actually returns to normal after a certain speed on forward movement, just like the camera shutting off.

Do the changes at rows 44-48 here for disabling forced Canadian DRLs: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=815852466

Then you can use the changes on the same spreadsheet at the top to change which light(s) are your DRL.

Default Fog and brights

I've already made the Bambi changes successfully on my 16, but I was was wondering if there is a way for the fogs to automatically come on and turn off with the brights if the fogs were originally off.

Basically I'm trying to get Max light with brights on without blinding people with my fogs on all the time.

I am curious why the new version of FORScan (v2.3.15) when connecting to the vehicle asks if the vehicle has Sync and if so what version?
