I am having an issue with forscan not writing. I get to 50% and it says service interrupted. I upgraded to 2.3.3. that didn't fix it. I am close to the end of my extended license ID that matters. Any thoughts?

What are you trying to write? Your ignition needs to be ON the entire time, but engine NOT running.

I was thinking that earlier. What happens when my extended license expires in October? Will it still work? Do i need to apply again?

It should work till it's expiration date, then just do the same thing over again to get another 2 months. You can't renew till it's expired.

Maybe it's your Canadan truck or the 2012 MY? What are you trying to change?

I had it stall out while writing before and it continued to do that so I hit the button to clear DTCs even though no DTCs were showing and then it wrote fine. Might not work for you but worth a try.

That is probably it. I know with IDS they clear the DTCs and I have some due to the fog light DRLs and the bulb out warning disabled.

I enabled remote start in the BCM already and I am working on getting the remote start options to appear in the IC. I have a few hex values I was going to try. On the '15+ trucks what is the values you guys use to enable remote start in the IC? I would be willing to bet that the '15+ trucks are the same as the 09-14 trucks where the remote start is built into the trucks.

Comparing the two spread sheets, The 15+ shows the address at 720-02-02 in the IPC. The 09-14 spread sheet shows the address at 720-01-02, with the value 3D88 6FEA 0048. The notes state that this was used to add Remote Start to an STX. This may be some help?

Yes, was a little nervous after finally getting them working. I took out the magic fuse(doesn't blow if it's not in)started to fight with the plug but seeing that I was in and out under the dash at 330lbs 6'2" for a good hour in 86 temp 65% humidity I took your advice and just cut the grey wire.
Put in my jumper I think I used 14 gauge folded over some on the end to get a good tight fit. Then taped it all up and clicked the module in.
As of now all is working good. I'll test it on my dirt road later, its so bad you bounce right off the road. See if it shakes loose.
